I’ve been landscaping my whole life.
My dad, now retired, was a well-known landscaper who took the Bristol landscaping scene by storm. He competed at the Bristol Flower Show, winning Best in Show four times along with numerous other medals.
As a young boy, I would help him (along with other family members) to build beautiful show gardens in just a few days. We often featured in local newspapers and even appeared on TV. It felt like the landscaping Olympics, and I couldn’t wait to be part of it.
Sadly, the Bristol Flower Show was cancelled the very year I left school and started work (2006), so I never got the chance to build my own show garden. But that only made me more determined to prove myself. I started my own company soon after and have been landscaping ever since.

That led me to think seriously about the future and how I could continue sharing my expertise without the heavy lifting.
